Shriners Hospital for Children is a non-profit organization, with several locations throughout the United States. The first hospital was opened in Shreveport, Louisiana, and its initial focus was the poliovirus. It is owned by Shriners International, and the headquarters is located in Tampa, Florida. They care for all patients, regardless if they are able to pay for their services. All care is solely based on medical needs, as long as they are under the age of 18. No insurance required.
