Bringing your newborn home from the hospital is one of THE events of your life. That will probably be the first time your baby will see the light of the day and, although she will probably sleep through the ride, she will definitely sense the excitement of the adults around her.
Make sure to pack seasonal clothes – you don’t want your baby to be too cold or too hot. Just one layer more than you will do, unless you’ve got a winter baby, you will need a snowsuit then. A properly installed car seat is not only the safest way to take your baby home if you’re driving, but also mandatory by law.
Take your time while leaving the hospital and verify all the information you’ve been given – like the date of your baby’s first check-up or the number of the line that’s working 24/7, so you could call should you have any concerns and want to consult your pediatrician.
